Available for Monthly or Long-term Rentals Welcome to Hickory Pines Lodge, a charming cabin nestled in the hills of Lake Arrowhead, providing you with vintage collections and casual camp-style décor, which will take you back to simpler times. It has a large deck and spacious living spaces perfect for a vacation getaway. The cabin is family-friendly, offering amenities such as a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and baby gear. You can enjoy a summer BBQ on the deck or sledding in the winter. The cabin accommodates a maximum of 8 adults, and infants do not count towards that limit. The pet-friendly cabin allows two pets, but an additional cleaning fee is required. Please note that smoking is not allowed inside the cabin. The cabin has central air conditioning and heating, and during summer, the top floor may take time to cool down, but fans are provided in every room. For the winter, there are blankets and space heaters available in the cabin. The wood-burning fireplace can be used with fire starters and Duraflame logs. There is also a gas fire pit with fireproof lava rocks for roasting marshmallows, and no wood-burning fires are allowed due to fire safety regulations. In the case of stormy or snowy weather, residents are advised to have AWD or 4 Wheel drive vehicles and carry chains or cables, and ice melt can be purchased from local grocery stores. The property provides snow shovels and windshield scrapers, as well as sleds and snow toys for the residents to use. The cabin is perfect for all ages, including kids, with outdoor swings, high chairs, strollers, booster seats, and kiddie plates and utensils available. It also has a baby-proofing gate on the deck. Residents have access to the entire property, except for some storage located in the Build Up. One car may be parked at the top of the property, and additional parking spaces are available in the half-circle driveway at the bottom of the property. Electric vehicles can be charged at the Lake Arrowhead Village charging stations, and a $30 fee will be added if charged at the property. The cabin is visited frequently by cute critters, such as foxes, squirrels, and deer, but residents must be aware of bears and not leave any food items in their cars. The cabin is also ideal for large groups, and if needed, the neighboring cabin across the street is available for booking. The cabin is located just a 5-minute drive from the village and lake, and there are shops, restaurants, and places of interest nearby, including Miller's Landing wedding venue, Timberline in the Glen, an upscale vintage shop, and other local amenities.
