This stylishly designed 2 bedroom rental is perfectly sized for two couples or a young family. It is furnished with essential amenities, plus enjoy fastest fiber wifi, two cruiser bikes and bring your small dog.

The space
Planning a visit to Boise or the surrounding area? Our vacation house is perfect for a vacation, visiting family, attending a music or art event, a work trip to Boise or checking out the city to make it your forever home.

We are located just three short blocks from the Boise River Whitewater Park and Greenbelt, which is famous for biking or walking along the Boise River to restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. Enjoy sitting out on the patios of the wineries or restaurants along the path and check out more excitement watching them surf the waves at the Boise Whitewater Park. Plus, you can SUP or kayak on the lazy river in Esther Simplot Park just across the bridge or float the Boise River for summertime fun! The cottage is only a short 25 min bike ride to BSU! And walk 4 blocks to Clairvoyant Brewing to sit outside on their patio, sip on a growler and chat with new friends at this neighborhood bar! Plus, we are 5 minutes to the quaint downtown district or 10 minutes to the Northend suburb of Boise with their trendy restaurants, fun coffee shops and bakeries, shopping and festivals.!

Details provided with your confirmed reservation but some of the options are a locally sourced charcuterie board, pre-stocked fridge and flower bouquet delivery are some of the add-on experiences you can book prior to your arrival.

Outdoors: You access the cottage through double french doors off the front porch with a self-check-in lockbox. The code is provided the day of arrival. Street parking is free and readily available. Sit back and relax in the adirondack chairs on the front deck with a wicker table for playing games or enjoying your local snacks. Light up the propane fire pit at night, grill those burgers on our provided barbecue or just curl up with a book and enjoy the beautiful night skies of Boise!

Entryway: Once inside the french doors, you will be in our entryway room that pays tribute to Boise attractions; featuring local guidebooks, a chalkboard listing guest's favorite spots, paddle board art welcoming you to the Boise Whitewaterpark neighborhood and our custom pet accessories. One more door and you pass through to the open living area of the house, decorated in mid-modern style. Two cruiser bikes with helmets, night lights and locks are stored here and waiting for you to explore the Greenbelt path!

The open area space: Relax around the counter island with 4 tall stools so families can gather and chat, plus a table in the dining room that sits 4. The cottage is fully equipped with all necessary utensils, basic supplies and condiments, local coffee/tea plus a coffee pot and electric tea kettle are available at the coffee bar. And, our home features the latest model of the Duxtop Induction burners, which has become the gourmet chef’s preferred method of cooking and butcher block prep area and shelving for extra necessities. For those nights not eating out on the town, microwave, convection oven, toaster, & Ninja blender are also provided. Dishes for 6, including plates, bowls, mugs, wine glasses and placemats make it easy to eat at home. Plus, children's dinnerware provided for the little ones in your group. The fridge comes furnished with La Croix waters, creamer for coffee and basic spices are provided. And check out the fun arrival treat waiting for you on the counter!

The living room: Snug and cozy with a spacious feel, this room features a comfortable leather couch and a plush armchair for you to curl up in after a long day of exploring the Greenbelt. Hardwood flooring is softened with a jute-style rug and handy coffee table. A floor lamp provides overhead lighting options along with traditional ceiling lights. A 50-inch flat screen television to enjoy shows with your Netflix or Hulu subscription offers your evening entertainment. Grab a book off the bookshelf, curl up with our Luxome weighted blanket and enjoy the peace and quiet of the neighborhood.
Heating/air conditioning is provided by a ductless heater. For all your electronic surfing needs, we offer 1 GB per sec. up/down fiber optic internet speed.

The bathroom: Features standard sink with mirror and counter magnifying mirror plus long cupboard to store your essentials from home and welcoming green foliage plants in the window. T3 Hair dryer and curing iron accessories included. This bathroom features a shower over the bath with a rattan storage bin and linen closet to hold all the extra fluffy towels. Plus, we have over the toilet storage stocked with items sometimes forgotten to make the cottage your home away from home.

Master bedroom: Quiet and inviting, the nicely sized master features a closet with hangers enough for all your outfits, and a tri-fold twin bed plus pack n play for your kids/grandkids. Two end tables, one with a sound machine/diffuser with provided essential oils and the other stylishly appointed with knickknacks are on each side of the Nectar memory foam mattress king size bed. Piled high with pillows, it is perfect for diving into after your walk along the Greenbelt or mountain hike. Wall sconces are on each side of the bed. Your bedroom includes a full-length mirror, luggage rack and bohemian jute chair to sink into and de-stress. Plus, a Snooz sleep machine guarantee you will be counting sheep all night long. A mid-modern dresser has enough drawers to keep your clothes together for longer stays. A ductless heater/air conditioner and earthy tones in the artwork and décor all add to a warm, welcoming atmosphere. White plantation blinds block out light for the perfect night's sleep. Sleep in comfort knowing our room is filtered by a Molekule Air Mini for the best air quality.

Upstairs bedroom: Accessed behind a door to the right of the master bedroom and up the stairs with a railing, this charming loft-style bedroom features a Nectar memory foam queen mattress, multiple shelves, a closet with hangers and storage bins containing kids’ books and toys to occupy your little ones. Plantation shades also provide darkness in the room for a great night's sleep. Plus, heating and air conditioning is provided through our ductless system. Bohemian style end tables are on each side of the bed and also feature a sound machine/diffuser with provided essential oils. As they curl up with the comfy throw and lean back into the stack of pillows, your little ones or friends traveling with you will wake up feeling rested and refreshed for their day of exploring the nearby Waterpark or area's attractions.

Laundry Room: Off the back of the kitchen is our large Laundry room featuring our owner's closet and cleaner's cabinet. A stackable washer/dryer is provided for laundry needs plus basic cleaning supplies including broom, dustpan, mop and snow shovel. An ironing board and iron are located in the pantry if you need to look nice for an event or get ready for work.

Welcome to life at the Boise Whitewater Cottage!

Guest access
You have access to the entire 2 bedroom/1 bath cottage. Our second property the Villa shares an adjoining door located behind the cottage laundry room. Both properties rent separately but can be joined together for a larger group.

Other things to note
Due to the coronavirus we are taking disinfection seriously, our cleaners are doing a top to bottom job and really focusing on disinfection of high touch areas, such as light switches, door handles, remotes, countertops, etc.

We are proud to offer our second property, a gorgeous 3 bedroom/2 1/2 bath home (and a saltwater swimming pool with hot tub!). The Boise Whitewater Villa is located right behind the Cottage through a connecting door and can be rented separately for groups up to 8 guests and connected to rent together for larger groups up to 12 guests under the Airbnb listing Boise Whitewater GrandeVilla.

Please keep the pantry door to cottage closed when the properties are not rented together so sound doesn't carry between both houses. Reach out to us regarding availability of the larger rental.

The driveway is reserved for our Villa at the back of the property. Street parking is readily available for the Cottage right in front of the property. It is free and unrestricted. If the driveway is unoccupied on your arrival, you are welcome to unpack but please immediately move to the street parking.

Please be aware that if you are bringing your pet, the cottage is not fenced. But, we do have a very quiet neighborhood for long walks with your furry family member on a leash.

Please keep outside noise to a minimum after 10pm. Any complaints from neighbors regarding noise are grounds for your reservation to be terminated without a refund. We have a Ring doorbell. It is always on. If you have questions, please ask.

Our lawns are mowed once a week in the spring/summer season. Once a month, we have routine exterior pest maintenance.
